Our Landmark Home and Land Company Experience
Still buoyed by a wildly successful 4th day, the crew literally built on the care they had taken with the first story and floor panels and had four sections of panels up and nailed in place in 15 minutes. Note the 2×4 bracing to keep the panels steady.
Two hours later, the second story exterior walls were almost all set. Note the gap in exterior cladding where the ends of the floor trusses show. These will be covered with plywood before the roof goes on
This photo is taken from the roof of the old mobile home that Barbie and Elizabeth are living in while construction is going on. It’s really helpful to be available on the site most of the time.
By noon, all the second floor exterior and interior walls were accurately set and nailed in place, ready for the roof and the crew left for their weekend off early.
Monday the floor truss ends will be covered, the balcony built and the stairs “roughed in” ready for the roof to go on Tuesday
